Recovery

Today brings challenges. Den was sick a lot of  last night and his blood pressure is high and spiking. He is supposed to be released today but Mom and I may advocate for another night in the ICU.  Advocating to a neurosurgeon is about as easy as it sounds, but we are up for the challenge. 

Den is using his hospital stay to tell people about his Summit for Parkinson's work: it will be a challenge to get that Irishman to turn off his brain for ten days!

I will update this afternoon once we know more.

    Hi Daphne. I think you and Mary Ellen are making the right decision about another night. Really? they would release from the hospital from ICU? Seems like there should be an intermediate step.

    As smart as (many) doctors are, you and your family know what is best for Dennis. Jeanne and I have person experience deal with all kinds of doctors including neurosurgons. Sometime we in the public put these people on pedestals but they are just people. Listen to what they say but remember that you're the folks driving the bus.
